Mainly working with 925 silver and gold, Shabana Jacobson has been making beautiful one-off pieces of jewellery for the last 10 years.

Her work is simple, elegant, unique, contemporary and quirky at times.

Starting out as a fine artist and morphing into jewellery, Shabana is a mostly self taught jeweller and has refined her practice into what you see today.

Inspiration is drawn from everyday life we take for granted or don’t seem to notice, like the textures on the floors we walk or the peeling paint from a building, the negative and positive shapes we see through the ugliness and the beauty of society, the colours around us and how we live in our man made and natural world and the sheer complexity of it all. “Nature is endlessly providing us with subjects to work with, I just turn them into something wearable.”
